GEW Asia opens
in Mumbai, India
UV curing systems manufacturer GEW (EC) Ltd., of Redhill, UK, has opened the first phase of its sales, service and manufacturing operation in Mumbai, India. The facility will service the India and the Southeast Asia markets. The operation is headed by CEO Dnyanesh Amonkar, an engineer with more than 10 years of experience with leading names in the Asian graphic arts industry.
According to Malcolm Rae, the managing director, “Phase two will see the start-up of our manufacturing and assembly operations in India in around 12 months. We anticipate being a totally integrated operation with established sales and support personnel in all the major Asian markets.”
